Job Description: We're looking for a skilled mechanic to join our Service Department team. Depending on your skillset you may be tasked with basic repairs, assemblies, performing larger service packages or a combination of these tasks. Shop experience is preferred. Technical aptitude and a desire to learn are a must. 

Job Responsibilities:
Complete repairs to Urbane’s Service Department standards.
Tire installation and flat fixes
Basic adjustments (brakes, gears, bearings, wheel true)
Accessory installation (fenders, racks, etc.)
Cable and housing and brake pad installation
To perform basic repairs according to shop standards of quality
To perform basic repairs within established time limits
Perform bicycle Safety Checks
Bike builds up to $2500 retail value
Aid and take direction from other Service Department team members to help complete repairs and services.
Test-ride bikes to ensure proper operation
Update work orders in point of sale system with serial numbers, name of assembler and stage of completion bike is in.
Stock tools, supplies and parts as required
Maintain a clean work station throughout the day, empty bins and sweep floor at end of shift
Maintain clear communication with Service Writer, Head Mechanic, and Customer as required by the job at hand
Other duties as assigned.

Job Description: We are currently looking for a bike mechanic /Bicycle Rental and tour Associate to wok with us. As one of our team members, you will perform a variety of tasks, including

- Maintaining and repairing our 75+ rental/tour bike fleet. We do have variety of bikes including hybrid, cruiser, tandem, electric bike, children's bike.
- Welcome guests and provide outstanding hospitable experiences for the guests and walk in customers
- Process bike rentals

- Coordinate bike tour preparation and administration (Preparing right size bikes, greeting customers, bike fitting, signing waiver documents)
- Accompany tours occasionally and being the support tour guide

- Provide road side bike repair assistance for tours and rentals when needed
- Perform bike tune ups for the entire fleet before the end of season sales and assist with the sale of bikes
- Answer phone calls and emails
- Operate POS system and collect payment; ensure the smooth operation of customer check-outs at the cash register
- Open and close the shop
- Keep retail space and floor clean and tidy

Requirements and qualifications
- Bike mechanic/repair/maintenance skills
